Welcome to Flag Football Scoreboard, a mobile app developed by Storq Labs BV. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

2. Information We Collect

Flag Football Scoreboard stores the following information locally on your device only using AsyncStorage:

• Game History: Team names, colors, scores, game events, and timestamps
• Game Data: Touchdowns, extra points, safeties, ball position, possession, downs, distance, and timeouts
• Game Settings: Rule presets (NFL Flag, i9 Sports, Adult Rec, Custom), period length, and scoring options
• Team Names: Custom team names you enter for games

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

We want to be absolutely clear about what we do NOT do:

• We do NOT require user registration or accounts
• We do NOT collect personal information (name, email, phone number)
• We do NOT use analytics or tracking services
• We do NOT display advertisements
• We do NOT share data with third parties
• We do NOT sync data to cloud servers
• We do NOT collect location data
• We do NOT access your contacts, camera, microphone, or photos
• We do NOT use cookies or web tracking
• We do NOT collect device identifiers for tracking purposes
• We do NOT store any data on external servers
• We do NOT collect health or fitness data
• We do NOT collect financial information

4. How the App Works

Flag Football Scoreboard operates entirely on your device:

• All score tracking, clock management, and calculations happen locally on your device
• Game history is stored in local device storage (AsyncStorage)
• No data is ever sent to our servers or any third-party servers
• No network connection is required to use the app

5. Share Functionality

Flag Football Scoreboard includes a feature to share game results as images. Please understand:

• Sharing uses your device's native share sheet (provided by iOS/Android)
• The app creates a local screenshot of game results using react-native-view-shot
• No data is transmitted to our servers when you share—sharing goes directly through your device
• Where and with whom you share the image is entirely your choice and responsibility
• We have no access to or control over shared content once it leaves your device

6. Third-Party Services

Flag Football Scoreboard uses minimal third-party services:

• expo-sharing: Enables native share functionality. No data is transmitted to third parties through this service.
• react-native-view-shot: Creates local screenshots for sharing. All processing happens locally on your device.
• Expo/React Native: The framework used to build the app. No data is transmitted to Expo servers in production builds.

The app is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Their respective privacy policies apply to the download and installation process.

7. Device Permissions

Flag Football Scoreboard requires no special device permissions:

• No camera access required
• No microphone access required
• No location access required
• No contacts access required
• No photo library access required
• No network permission required (app works fully offline)

The share feature uses the native share sheet, which does not require any special permissions.

8. Data Storage and Deletion

All data is stored locally on your device:

• Data persists until you delete the app
• No server-side storage exists
• No backups are made to developer-controlled servers
• Cloud backup behavior is controlled by your device settings (iCloud/Google)

To delete all app data:

• Simply uninstall the app from your device

9. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Flag Football Scoreboard is designed for use by adult coaches and coordinators, not children. However, since we do not collect any personal information from anyone:

• There is no risk of collecting children's data
• No personal information is collected from users of any age
• The app is safe for all ages to use under adult supervision
• We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13

10. International Users

Since we do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data:

• GDPR (EU): No personal data processing occurs. All data remains on your device under your control.
• CCPA (California): We do not sell personal information because we do not collect any.
• Other Jurisdictions: Our zero-data-collection approach means we comply with privacy regulations worldwide by default.

11. Data Security

Your data security relies on your device's built-in security features:

• Data is protected by your device's passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID
• We do not transmit data over the internet
• No server-side vulnerabilities exist because we have no servers storing your data
• Your device's operating system provides the security layer for locally stored data

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time without prior notice. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

13. Service Availability & Discontinuation

By using Flag Football Scoreboard, you acknowledge and agree that:

• We may discontinue the App at any time without prior notice
• We make no guarantee of continued service availability
• Features may be added, changed, or removed at our sole discretion
• We are under no obligation to maintain, update, or support the App

14. Entertainment/Recreational Purpose

We are not responsible for any decisions, disputes, or outcomes based on data displayed in the app. Users are responsible for verifying all scores and game information independently.
